-Concerts have already been performed-
The Nederlands Kamerkoor presents a new concert series: Big To Basics. Renowned symphonic conductors return to the foundation of western music: polyphonic vocal music.
The first conductor welcomed by the Nederlands Kamerkoor is Hartmut Haenchen, once chorister in the Kreuzchor of Dresden. It is has been 40 years since he conducted a full-scale choral programme. That is exactly what the Nederlands Kamerkoor has in mind with this new series: the reunion of renowned symphonic conductors with choral music.
In this beautiful, festive programme of international allure, Brahms’ Liebesliederwalzer op.52 and Mátra Pictures by Kodály will be performed. They are preceded by Bach’s most beautiful motets, the maestro’s deeply cherished wish.
