Thrumming timpani and blaring trumpets: the performance of the festive Christmas Oratorio has become a permanent tradition for the Nederlands Kamerkoor. This year, for the  performance of Bach’s masterpiece for Christmas, the choir is collaborating with the Freiburger Barockorchester, ranked among the absolute top Baroque ensembles, and a superb cast of soloists. In combination with Peter Dijkstra, chief conductor of the Nederlands Kamerkoor, and his acclaimed interpretation of Bach’s repertoire, this promises to be an unforgettable performance of the Christmas Oratorio.
