Concerts are in South-America and the Netherlands

Together with Amsterdam Sinfonietta, the Nederlands Kamerkoor will go on tour with one of the most beautiful and famous works of the world: the Requiem of Fauré. This version for chamber orchestra reflects the intimate character of the piece.

In the first part of this programme, peace and war face each other. Sjostakovitsj’s Kammersinfonie is dedicated to victims of facism and war, while Da Pacem Domine of Arvo Pärt pleas for world peace. The two ensembles interlace the two pieces in a unique way. Concerts will be both in South-America and the Netherlands.
