Already in the 13th century, composers of French chansons did not mince their words. Even today some of the texts from the late Middle Ages and early Renaissance may cause us to blush. Paul Van Nevel transports us to a world in which the beauty of the music and the temptations of the flesh compete to gain the upper hand. The renowned Flemish writer Luuk Gruwez will recite poems, inspired by the lustful themes of the original song lyrics. In short, a lip-smacking, mouthwatering and stimulating programme.
