In September 2026, the Netherlands Chamber Choir will present the concert series Cantique des Cantiques: a program moving between the extremes of deep solitude and intense connection. Alongside these concerts, we are organizing Singing Circles and joint concert visits for older adults (70+), in collaboration with Singing in Healthcare (Zingen in de Zorg). Because singing together means living together in connection.
The concert program poses an existential question about cosmic solitude: “Where is everybody?” With this contextual program, we give a powerful answer together: ‘We are here. We hear each other.’ Connection isn't created through perfection, but by breathing, listening, and experiencing together.

Under the professional guidance of experienced Healthcare Vocalists Maartje de Lint, Sanne Mallant, and Bernet Wilms, accompanied by pianist Frank Kok, we will sing songs together centered on friendship, longing, and connection.
Listening together
Participants will meet again during the Netherlands Chamber Choir concert. In this way, we transition together from singing as one to listening as one, creating a lasting memory and deeper connection.
We are organizing Singing Circles in four locations:
