In addition to opera repertoire, Femke enjoys singing songs and oratorios. She has performed Berio’s Folk Songs at the Tenerife Chamber Music Festival and Brahms’ Liebeslieder Waltzes in the small hall of the Concertgebouw.

With the NASKA Orchestra, she sang Bach’s St Matthew Passion. She has also performed at Podium Klassiek and on NPO Radio 4.

Femke also enjoys working on (her own) music-theater productions. She appeared in Max Bruins’ Prometheus at the Grachtenfestival and is a member of the Aeolus Vocal Trio, with which she performed an original music-theater production at the Muziekgebouw aan ’t IJ.

Her passion for creating classical music-theater productions has led her to the NKK NXT program. Within this program, she can further develop her skills in physical theatre, improvisation, and ensemble singing alongside a wonderful group of singers.
